Well, we ended up having a family snow day today after all! 😀😀😀
Greg actually listened to my advice and decided to stay home. We took Will to his brother's anatomy scan, which took forever but went really well (Just try entertaining an antsy, ever-moving toddler in waiting rooms for 2+ hours!).
Some facts we discovered about BBL2:
1. He is stubborn and difficult, not wanting to fully spread out lengthwise for the camera so his spine could be measured.
2. He likes to suck on his toes.
3. He is not shy and enjoys showing off his manly parts.
Yup, definitely our son. 😂😂😂
We stocked up on more diapers, Starbucks, and alcohol (only for Greg, obviously) before settling in for the rest of the day. Will was an absolute angel (Allelujah!), and we had a blast hanging out. Dex and I got a walk in before the snow really started, I had a chance to bake again, we played a ton, made personal pizzas, and even ended the day watching a ridiculous comedy, The Overnight, together. It's rare that Greg and I actually watch an entire movie without distractions, not falling asleep, and with no responsibilities to attend to in the morning (aside from parenting). 😜😜
I love snow days. I love when we are all stuck inside and have nowhere to be, nothing we have to do, and all the time we want to bond and just BE as a family. I know cabin fever may eventually set in (if we get the 2-3 feet of snow expected!), but for now, I'm loving this. ☃☃☃
