Bring it on, blizzard!

I think Kris is getting one heck of a laugh up in Heaven right now. 😂😂😂

As if 2+ potential feet of snow weren't enough for this weekend (Eek!!), she saw to it that we had a little snow appetizer this evening. Even though we only got about an inch of snow, a sheet of ice remains underneath due to frigid temperatures and untreated roads. No one expected this one to be bad, and already there are over 172 accidents on local highways. Many people are still stranded and cannot get home. 😫

OK, well, obviously, Kris didn't plan for or want the accidents, but the snow part always excited her. She was one of the first teachers I ever met truly passionate about storms and weather, someone whose prediction you listened to. Chance of a snow day? Ask Kris. She always gave the best insight in town.

Being from the North, DC storm hysteria has always entertained me ever since moving down here in 2007. Case in point: Wegman's this afternoon at 4 pm = total apocalyptic zone. My quest to pick up a handful of essentials for the weekend turned into an extended affair and caused me to be a little late to an evening training. BUT we are all now well-stocked! 😎😎

So, bring it on, Kris! Just please make this storm epic enough to shut everything down and prevent all of us from having to venture out into it, especially my hubby with his long, crazy commute. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Let it snow!!!!! #blizzardtime #snowdaydance #stormjonas2016 ☃☃☃☃☃🌨🌨🌨🌨🌨
